With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) now in the Republic of Ireland, we are conscious some of our Members may wish to avoid visiting our office to conduct transactions. We would like to remind our Members that most of our Credit Union services can be conducted over the phone. We can take Debit Card payments for loan and saving payments, and we would kindly ask our Members to pay by card where possible.

Temporary Change to Opening Hours

Effective from Monday 30th March.

Our office will operate with the following temporary opening hours.
Monday – Thursday: 10am – 12pm
Friday: 10am – 12pm & 5pm – 8pm

Temporary Account Authorisation Available

Are you or a loved one self-isolating due to COVID-19? Do you need to access funds?

You can now temporarily authorise Bruff Credit Union to pay monies from your account to a person nominated by you while you are confined or self-isolating during COVID-19. Click here to download the form or phone us on 061 382111.

How Can I Pay My Loan?

Use your Debit Card to pay over the phone
– Call 061 382111 to make your payment.

Set Up a Standing Order
– Set-up a Standing Order for a regular payment to your loan.

Pay by Electronic Payment (EFT)
– Contact us by phone or email for details to complete an EFT. Call 061 382111 or email loans@bruffcu.ie. These details are also available at our office, ask a staff member on your next visit. IMPORTANT: Make sure to put your Credit Union Member Number as a reference on the payment to ensure we allocate to the correct account.

What Controls Do We Have In Place to Prevent The Spread of the Virus at the Credit Union?

We would like to reassure members that Bruff Credit Union have taken the following precautions:

  • All our staff have received training to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are always practised. This includes regularly washing their hands.
  • Regularly disinfecting member touchpoints
  • Disinfectant wipes are available at the counter for Member use
  • Undertaking regular staff training and communications on the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
  • Private Member area available
