COVID-19 Member Information

With the country in Level 5 restrictions, we remain open as an essential service. We would like to remind our Members that most of our Credit Union services can be conducted over the phone.

To prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to protect our staff and our members, we ask that our members only visit our branch if necessary.

Make loan payments using your Debit Card by phone: 061 382111 or online here.

If visiting our office during the restrictions; in line with public health advice we request that members wear face masks while in our office and only two people allowed in the members area at any one time.

Opening Hours

Effective from Monday 14th December 2020.

Our office will operate with the following temporary opening hours.
Monday – Thursday: 10am – 1pm
Friday: 10am – 1pm & 4pm – 8pm

– Contact us by phone or email for details to complete an EFT. Call 061 382111 or email loans@bruffcu.ie. These details are also available at our office, ask a staff member on your next visit. IMPORTANT: Make sure to put your Credit Union Member Number as a reference on the payment to ensure we allocate to the correct account.

How Can I Make a Loan Application?

How Can I Withdraw My Money?

By Electronic Payment (EFT)
– Have your money sent to your bank account via EFT. Email the request to info@bruffcu.ie. Please include the following information in your email:

  • your 4-digit Bruff Credit Union account number
  • your bank details (Account Name, BIC, IBAN)
  • the amount required
  • your contact phone number

Once we receive this information we will contact you by phone to confirm the details of the email and then will process the payment.

In Branch
– Our branch is open if you need to access funds but we ask all members, where possible to conduct their business by phone or online.

What Controls Do We Have In Place to Prevent The Spread of the Virus at the Credit Union?

We would like to reassure members that Bruff Credit Union have taken the following precautions:

  • All our staff have received training to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are always practised. This includes regularly washing their hands.
  • Regularly disinfecting member touchpoints
  • Disinfectant wipes are available at the counter for Member use
  • Undertaking regular staff training and communications on the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
  • In line with public health advice we request that members wear face masks while in our office.
  • During Level 5 restrictions, a maximum number of two people are allowed in the members area at any one time. This request is for the safety and wellbeing of fellow members and staff.

Are you or a loved one self-isolating due to COVID-19? Do you need to access funds?
